It is the main component of the furnace tube arrangement connection of the
gathering boiler such as Single Drum Smoke Tube Boiler, which has the function
of distributing water supply and leading.
The upper collecting box is located on the upper part of the furnace tube,
where water vapor mixtures from the rising tube bundle are collected and
introduced into the pot barrel through the tube. Some upper collecting boxes are
mounted on the outside of the furnace wall and have rows of manual holes in the
position opposite to the furnace tube for cleaning the inside of the tube.
The lower collecting box is located at the bottom of the boiler such as Gas
Fired Hot Air Boiler China tube, connected with the lower boiler tube for water
supply, and distributed to the rising furnace tube. The lower collector box
located at both sides of the grate has the function of preventing the wall on
both sides of the grate from burning or hanging coke. The lower compartment has
a drain pipe and a hand hole at the end to check the inside of the
compartment.
In addition to the boiler body collector, there are corresponding collector
boxes on the economizer, superheater and other parts.
The box is usually welded by a large diameter seamless steel pipe and two end
caps. In recent years, some manufacturers have replaced the welded end cap with
the pipe end spinning, making the structure more reasonable.
